How to Measure Your Wrist in One Minute
Wrap a soft tape or non-stretch string snugly around the narrowest part of your wrist. Do not compress the skin or add extra room. The result is your snug wrist measurement.

Method 1: Use a soft measuring tape
- Rest the hand that will wear the bracelet naturally with the palm facing up.
- Wrap the tape around the narrowest part of the wrist, usually just below the wrist bone.
- Keep the tape flat and snug without compressing the skin or leaving a gap.
- Read the number where the tape overlaps. This is your snug wrist measurement.
Method 2: Use string and a ruler
- Use a non-stretch cotton string, ribbon, or narrow strip of paper.
- Wrap it snugly around the narrowest part of the wrist.
- Mark the exact overlap point without pulling tighter or loosening it.
- Lay it flat and measure from the starting edge to the mark with a ruler.
Tips
- Measure the wrist where you will actually wear the bracelet; left and right wrists can differ.
- Measure in a normal resting state, not immediately after exercise, a hot shower, or noticeable swelling.
- Measure twice. If the results differ, check that the tape is flat and not twisted.
- For an Avara Lan custom piece, provide the snug measurement without adding length and choose your preferred fit.
