Here is the short answer: if you want a woven bracelet to move through coastal and everyday life, a 316L stainless-steel clasp is one of the more suitable choices than common 304. 316L contains molybdenum and generally offers stronger chloride-corrosion resistance than 304. A grade name is not an automatic pass, however. Clasp finishing, repeated opening and closing, and the strength of the cord-to-metal connection all affect whether a bracelet can truly stay on the wrist.
